Why is my internet speed slow on my ps3? I may have slow speed broadband but this speed is rediculous its taken like 4 hours to get to 30% on the software update. My speed is 512k so it should be getting around 52kb/s speed but its getting 10kb/s. I know no ones using my wireless internet but i just dont understand why this takes so long. Its only 100mb and it should take 40 mins tops! my wireless signal says 50% on the ps3 but its just downstairs. Can you guys please help this is so annoying

I have been doing some research in my area and have found that Verizon Fios and AT+T offer internet service in my area. I would like a relatively fast internet speed but also need a good price. What other things should I be considering. And how do I know how fast the connection will be?
